slim pickins

This week I am poor. I've been eating salad (largely made from what I've grown in my yard) and just-add-water soups all week. Where did the money go? With me and E to Yellowstone last week. Tune in soon for a culinary report of the cervids and bovids we consumed there.

I got some money left, but I'm saving it so I'll have it for some damned bills that show up from time to time.
I got home today after the market and as I pulled up there was a real estate agent putting in a sign in my neighbors lawn. I guess they're selling and moving, damn. It's a little tiny 2 bedroom home on a skinny lot going for 420k. Surely it'll go for over that and sell within the week, easy. But it sucks to have good neighbors GO.
Maybe next month you'll have enough for a down and you can move here. We could light fires and cook outside every second of the day.
Speaking of day, just got back from a nice meal at The Hacienda with a friend and the family. Only 5 of us this time. The only disapointment was the lack of fountain, the pump broke!!!
Man, that place is in disrepair.

So, FP, I guess 'spensive sushi and sake are out of the question this Friday? Maybe I can spot you for a couple of pupusas at La Bomba?

No, but we did hear a lot of "elk trumpeting". I really thought at first it was a cat being peeled out on by a 4X4. Once you get over the shock of being woken up by it at 4:30 in the morning though you realize it is really quite beautiful! Imagine 2,000 pounds of cervid meat stalking though your campground. I know biggles can.
