endangered animals taste good

Now this is what I'm talkin' about. Ootoro ("oh-toe-row"). A guilty pleasure for me, and I hope all, due to the endangered nature of bluefin tuna. I've seen these fish at the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo, and man, they are immense. Dangerously so.
This plate of Ootoro and Sake nigiri sushi was brought to us at our most favorite sushi spot in Monterey. We love it there. They apparently like us too, as they didn't charge corkage for our Shirakawago nigori sake.

That's like that fancy uncooked food, huh? Creepy E found some place at the Jay Vee center with raw fish and beef ready to eat. We can't get him away, brought me some berkshire bacon today.

Neat.

Yeah he's talking about Yaoya-san, which I of course frequent. The salmon cuts there are always exquisite. You can just buy them, slice them into bricks, add wasabi and presto; you've made a dish at home for like 6 bucks that would cost 20 in a restaurant.
